Food & Beverage Attendant - Conferencing & Events

Since opening in 2016, we have experienced high demand as a conference, event and wedding venue and are now established as the preferred event destination in Byron Bay.

We are looking for energetic and experienced Food & Beverage Attendants (Bar and Floor) to work predominantly on our conference and events. You need to be able to confidently converse with our clients and guests to provide smooth, efficient and positive service. This position requires manual lifting.

 

Requirements

 

  • Set conference spaces promptly and accurately to the specifications outlined on the function sheets
  • Handle all conference equipment with care to minimise possible breakages and personal injury
  • Keep the Conference & Events Operations Manager up to date on all critical issues
  • Previous bar, banquet or restaurant experience essential
  • Current NSW RSA and drivers licence
  • High standard of grooming and presentation
  • Strong work ethic and punctuality
  • The ability and flexibility to work various rostered shifts, including late evenings and weekends

Commercial Cleaner

Duties include, but are not limited to:

  • sweep and mop all floors. Repeat mopping of floors as required.
  • cleaning of all surfaces in bathrooms, including sinks and toilets
  • cleaning of all surfaces outside of the bar area, including tables, seats, walls, picture frames
  • removal, hose-down and return of large black bar mats (x 6)
  • empty and removal of all rubbish bins behind the bar and in bathrooms
  • ensure overall cleanliness of the venue in preparation for opening each night

The successful candidate will need to be physically fit as the role can be quite demanding.

Fresh Produce and Deli Assistants

Experienced Produce and Deli staff both full time and casual required for immediate start.
