Lexis provides student houses and a range of homestay accommodation options so that you can enjoy the Australian lifestyle in comfort and safety...and make some great new friends!
Where you live is almost as important as how you live, and to take advantage of the great Australian lifestyle, you need to be sure that you have access to comfortable, secure and affordable accommodation during your time with us.
All of our locations offer different accommodation experiences. For some students, the convenience and comfort of a short walk or bike ride to school makes Noosa a perfect choice. For those who like the bustle of the city, a train or bus ride in Brisbane may be more attractive.
Whichever location you choose, you can be assured that all of our accommodation options have been carefully selected to offer you the best possible accommodation experience.
What are my accommodation options?
Students generally select between Homestay and Student House accommodation. Homestay options (including Single, Share, Bed & Breakfast and Executive) are available at all of our locations, while Noosa, Byron Bay and Brisbane all offer Student House options (including single and share). Students who are more independent often find their own accommodation when they arrive in Australia. Our school staff are happy to point you in the right direction!
Which is the best option for me?
It all depends on you! Our most popular option is Homestay, as it not only provides a safe, comfortable living environment, but also plenty of opportunities to meet local people, make lasting friendships and get in lots of English practice.
Many students prefer the independence of Student House life. If you like to cook, don't mind doing your own cleaning and washing and can get on with a house full of sharemates from around the world, this might be the opption for you!
I'm travelling with a family! What should I do?
We regularly welcome parents with children to our schools, particularly in Lexis Noosa, where younger students take part in the ELITE program. We can provide Homestays who can welcome an entire family, or are happy to arrange a Short Term Lease on a property where possible.
Coming to Australia
Wherever you come from, there’s a good chance that it’s a pretty long way from Australia, so you may need a little help to get here and to settle in when you arrive.
Our accommodation and student services teams have a wealth of experience in ensuring that your journey goes smoothly and you can quickly settle into life in Australia.
Airport Transfers
If you would like one of our drivers to meet you on arrival at the airport, please let us know your flight details and arrival time in advance. You will be met in the arrivals lounge by a Lexis driver who will take you straight to your accommodation.
24 Hour Emergency Telephone
Should your flight be delayed, all Lexis Australia schools operate a 24 hour emergency contact line, which you can call to inform us of your expected arrival time. Details of which number to call will be sent to you along with your accommodation confirmation documents.
